You should get around 2 million for him BB. Clamp was Strong/Prof (with Resp stamina & med fielding) and got me 2.7 million.

Nice week for Raven. Only put the batting net on yesterday after Clamp went. Browne has taken his long overdue stamina net, Guy has taken on a fielding net for a while and Baron has taken a batting net. Basically have 3 nets spare, which will be used on a new trainee batter (i hope!) come the start of next season!

I'm training a WK at the moment and he'll be strong by the end of next season, would a superb or quality level be all right for full-time WK or shall I go a level or two higher?

Woo - my first remarkable batsmen. Tempted to leave it there and switch net to another bowler stamina for a pop or too for a few weeks. Two other factors - 1) I also need another batsmen trainee but unless anything worthwhile comes up on TM (budget only 1/2 mill) I may have to rest my hopes on opening YPs. 2) Wages - gonna be a BIG factor for me at the start of the new season. especially if I get relegated in FC (I have to think with my squad I'm in a comparitively tough V).

Any advice anyone ?

I'd keep him going, the difference in wages between Remarkable and Wonderful is only 4k a week. You need a Gun batsmen, who you can rely on to score at least a 50, 3 out of 4 weeks, and he's your best bet.

cheers - after today's FC survival is looking good anyway. Onto wunnerful it is then and a review after next pop - he celebrated in style today with 190 no

I thought my amount was about right so i think he has over-paid rather! Esp considering Clamp is 2 & a half weeks into strong!

Kev
Don't disagree with you, I would have been happy with 2m, so to go for over 3m is a result !

MrB said:
Bowlers generally cost more than batsmen. Particularly Spinners and Quicks.
Yes, but no way a Strong / Competent should have gone for over 3m

Edit - There's a 17yo Strong / Feeble (Proficient Stamina admittedly) with a bid of 3.5m on him :stunned:
