Happy days.

What do you think i should do with Keehans bowling net now he has the remarkable i craved... stick him on stamina???

My only pop was my Top Spinner and all rounder.

Brian Ruddy - 21 yo, BT Rating=41,028
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: respectable Concentration: quality
Bowling: quality Consistency: strong
Fielding: mediocre

Not sure what to do with him now. I have one net available.

1. Use the batting net for him to take him to prof and make him a decnt all rounder.
2.Change the net to Bo and try and get Ruddy to Rem.

3.Let him stay at that level and use the batting net for my new 17yo all rounder trainee who is comp/feeb in both batting and bowling. Although he only has a bowler net currently.

Advice pls.....

Matt, post up all of your trainees. I'd suggest using a net from elsewhere. Your competent/feeble all-rounder needs at least 2 nets.

For the comp/feeb do you mean 2 nets on Bo and another 2 nets on Ba? or one on each?

I'm happy to let Ruddy lie on what he is but was wondering what the Hatrick Gurus would do?

Other trainees are:

Toulson 19 Strong/Strong WK Prof - Ba & WK until Rem ba and Sup WK
Gower 21 Superb/Resp Ba until he's Qual
Wise 20 Strong/Qual Ba until he's Quality (He's due a pop soon)
Dilwar 18 Prof/Strong Ba until Rem
Scholes 19 Strong/Strong Bo until Qual/Rem will check age at Qual
Job 18 Prof/Prof Bo until Qual/Rem will check age at Qual
Hyron 17 Comp/feeb Bo until Qual/Rem will check age at Qual also has a fitness net for the forseeable. (Also & comp/feeb Batting)

Three players popped today,

Allan Norton - 20 yo, BT Rating=11,896

I'll change his one fitness net to a bowling one until he's Strong and hope for a consistency pop during.

T'was a very good day for Gamage, making him my first Superb bowler, shame about the poor fitness.

Sorry by 2 nets I meant one each on batting and bowling. Ideally he needs a fielding net as well to improve those secondaries (fielding nets are well worth it on all-rounders).

I'd probably switch his stamina net to batting, on the basis that its more efficient to train his batting now then when he's older, whilst stamina takes the same time whatever the age.

I'd then train Ruddy's batting up another level (I don't think respectable is quite high enough, but proficient when combined with his good concentration should be), and when that pops I'd then use that as a stamina net for Hyron. When Gower pops you can then use that as a fielding net on Hyron.

Nowt for me, none expected other than the uncertainty of when Cunningham's first Concentration pop will be. My training is now pretty much mapped out for the rest of the season and things will be pretty slow. Looking forward to next season as most of my players finish training at around the same time so I will have lots of lovely nets to play with! Will probably have a season of concentrating on stamina and just add one more batting trainee. Even if FC comes in next season I'm happy to ignore it for a season and add more players the following season.

Dave - I'd certainly think about giving Keehan a stamina net, though his consistency still needs work if he's to be a decent remarkable bowler. If you get some nets freed up it might be worth taking him on to wonderful with a fielding net to try and get two or three more consistency pops out of him. Also how much time does Cawood have till he pops? At 22 that looks a wasted net at only respectable.
