Polling update

Tight but Labour maintain their lead. However a yes vote for Scottish independence would make it extremely hard for them to form a meaningful government. Even with a technical majority they would need to enter into coalition if it were only a matter of a year to 18 months after the gen election before Scottish MP's lost their seats. Labour has 41 MPs in Scotland and the latest polling data suggest a majority of just 32. A coalition between the Lib Dems and other centre-left MP's should be relatively easy to negotiate.

This is purely my own view but I wonder if people will bother to vote Labour back in to seats that will be lost if Scotland does become independent.
