Picutres with Stan

Looking on other posts I am amazed the amount of people that seem to have had a snap taken with Stan. He must be the most photographed person in Essex at this rate - bar Jodie Marsh I expect but their all candid shots.

I am conducting this poll to see if there is anyone connected with SUFC who hasn't got a photo of them with Stan.

I was lucky enough to met Stan in the Munich fan fest this year and had a snap taken then - Altough our camera got stolen. I got his autograph is what we though would be his last ever game (Notts County Away) altough it turned out not to be. Still have that 10p biro at home now.

Your thoughts please.

I've never met Stan, so have no photo, autograph or anything from him. But in amongst all the Stan hero-worship, I am bound to say that he's not my all time number 1 Southend United hero.

That honour belongs to Chrissy Powell... and I was lucky enough to meet him - in fact, I've met him a couple of times.

I got my shirt from that season signed by Stan, as well as the photo and the signed book, and the signed VHS copy of his goals.

I also got McNasty's bio signed by Stan with the quote: Barry Harris is a virgin (Stan asked if it was a set-up...)

We met just after the LDV loss to Wrexham - and I have to say that meeting my footy hero pretty much made up for the previous two hours-worth of disappointment.
