What's that for those at work?

He doesn't want to have to get a load of loan players in. I think his selection in the big game showed that as only McLauglin and Pigott started the play-off games for us.

With that attitude he might need to be a bit more cut throat with some of the players out of contract.

I would of thought that would mean he wanted a bigger squad, and to rely less on loan players. Being in League One we should be able to attract a better class of loanee though.

Thank Christ for that. Can't stand 3 month loan deals.

If Charlton said pigott was going out on loan again next season bet phil will be the first banging on rons door . to get him back in next season

I understand Ron whilst on the beach yesterday discovered a treasure chest, inside the chest was rare finds worth squillions including a David Cassidy record !

Ron offered Phil a vast transfer budget, sadly Phil only demanded the record !,I understand Phil has removed his "Pele" shirt from his wall and replaced with David's smiling grin !

I can't believe I am saying this, but I think I prefer you talking 442 / Jason Williams and Jack Payne !

If Charlton are prepared to loan Piggy out again next season, there will be better ways than that of getting him in! :winking:

I think he'll be released. He didn't exactly set league 2 alight and I'm not sure he's the layer they want/need to get into the prem. I think we've got a good chance of picking him up tbh!

Really, I would give him a season contract for that Wembley goal alone.
Were you there to witness it?

He didnt set the world alight, but he started well and got some invaluable experience. Overall he did well but is still a young player, he has plenty of time to develop.

Not every good player is prolific before they reach 21.

Pigott was woeful on loan here, got no future as a professional football. I'm sure we can do a deal with Charlton and do them a favour of taking him off their hands for a nominal fee and while they are at it they can throw in that injury prone midfielder as well. I'm kind like that!

Said when he signed that they think highly of him there. I would be surprised if he is released.

What a top interview and didnt PB speak well, and he sounded really proud of his players, and the thought he put into his extra time half time address and the way he wanted the team to play, also the reasons Weston , Payne a nd piggott were the substitutes, showed to me he really is a thinking manager .He clearly has changed my opinion of him .
