Phone contract question

In June last year, I decided to get the HTC Desire S from T-Mobile, as I was with T-Mobile before. I thought I was getting a good deal for it, £25 p/m on a 24 month plan, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and 300 minutes including the phone for free.

Problems have started come up and I don't know whether it is down to the phone, network or a combination of both, but the majority of texts take over 30 minutes to get with some not even getting to me at all! Added to that, phone calls have been cutting out and sound going very poor, sometimes it has even turned itself off during a phone call.

Has anyone else had any problems like this? Is this a simple fix or is my phone/network crap?

you tried upgrading the firmware on your phone? its android so updates are pretty regular

I downloaded the latest software update a few days ago, but if anything it has just gotten worse.

hmmm, are you using any app for messaging like whatsapp or handcent? i found on my old phone (xperia x10 mini pro) that the delay happened when i used handcent

I haven't downloaded anything like that, just using the normal messaging that came with the phone.
