Neither of us has dared to suggest that the six fingered shepherd of the Ewes may get it. I'm shuddering at the thought whilst typing this.

Personally can't understand how Coker wasn't one on the nominated players ? Of course we are biased as Southend fans and have no idea of the other performers, but Cokes was superb in September, both defending and attacking

DF was abused by Bury fans after the fifth win and was virtually in tears.

Incredible decision. Bury won 5 in 5, including wins away at Walsall (2nd in table), Sheffield United (7th in table) and a home win against Coventry (5th in table). In 5 games they scored 10 and conceded 4.

Genuinely can't understand why they gave it to JFH...

Burton won 3 out of 5, with a loss at home to Coventry and draw at home to Sheffield United (so fixtures not really harder than Bury). They scored 5 goals and conceded 3.

I guess the only thing in Burton's favour is that they're topping the league and in their highest ever position - but that's not solely down to September.

Where did you get this from? Yes he was verbally abused by 3 drunken fans at the end of our game away at Crewe in August when he went over to clap our fans at the end of the match. Yes he was upset about it but acknowledged that it was only a handful of idiots. The consensus was he'd got his tactics hopelessly wrong in that match and we threw away 2 points despite battering them for most of the match. Doubt you'll find anyone booing him or the team at the moment.
Regarding Manager O.T.M., agree it was a baffling decision but hey we're Little old Bury and are well used to this kind of thing. When we got promoted as Champions from L2 under Stan Ternent many moons ago they gave the award to the Stockport manager instead.

Hopefully being MOTM will invoke the obligatory manager's curse and Burton will have a bad patch. Not that we dislike them or anything like that.

Mate, if you came on here regularly you'd realise that at best mrsblue's posts are highly exaggerated and mostly just plain rubbish
