In PB's weekly column in the Echo today he is quite rightly saying that today's football boot offers no protection to the foot at all which is why so many players get foot injuries. He is considering designing his own boot and it's something he has mentioned to the Chairman 'because he knows one of the directors is very involved with Hi-Tec'. Although it is a correct statement about Frank van Wezel, you would have thought that as Founder and Chairman of the company he might have merited a mention by name?
