Peterborough - The Posh

Anyone up for an away day delegation to Peterborough ?

Not the football club, but the Land Registry.

May not be common knowledge but the public are entitled to carry out personal searches to determine land owners + obtain copies of register entries and all or any mortgages and charges.

This can of course be carred out on-line for numbered houses, but where land is concerned, personal visitation preferable to indentify the actual parcels/differing title numbers.

Contact me off-group if interested [info@accountcollection.com]. Anticiapted Weds next week 27 February, early am start to arrive by 09.00 as much searching will likely be necessary.

Who are to be our Lords & Masters [the club landlords] @ Fossets if planning approved ??

You really don't need to bother actually going all the way to Peterborough.

You just need to send an index map search and then apply for office copies of all the registered titles that it reveals.

It should only cost a couple of quid.

Details will be on the land registry web-site

Problem is that you do not know how many titles there are beforehand and personal visit enables inspection of the index map to determine all whilst there to acquire copies of all registered title office copies + any mortgages.

I have been doing public record searches for 30 years, so have a little experience on the subject.

save driving up to peterbourough - just pick up the phone and make a call to the RM and ask for a appointment and speak with face to face and ask him
the questions you have

Why did I not think of that ?

Like newspaers having vested

they want you to hear.

I did have the copies personally about RH, they were given to me by a friend in the Football Governance Office. I think I gave them to Terry at the Trust.
