Peterborough 8-2 Accrington

HUTTON

Guest

So thats 3 goals for Boyd and McLean and 2 for Craig Mackail-Smith

On Setanta sports last night they gave the update as 4-0 as said thats game over there. then accrington pulled two back and they said oh maybe its not over as accrington stage a comeback. obviously the comeback didn't last long.

Saw Anglia soccer night, and they spoke to the two players after the match. They confirmed that Boyd is keeping it, as McLean has 1 hattrick already this season!!

Ferguson was not happy, said how his keeper had to make a great save at 4-2 to keep them in the game!!

He was quite scathing about Col U after they beat them in the cup though wasn't he, IIRC?

Not surprised. They were rubbish from what I saw of the highlights.
His dad will never give teams that beat Manure any credit, always blaming his own team's failings instead. So far I've not seen much of that from him.

Correct Peterborough are a very good side and we were very poor on the day, they could have scored 5 or 6, and fully deserved to win.We stood and applauded their players and fans after the game, good luck to them.
