Peter Taylor Pulls out of Charlton

Nothing I imagine as Tilly doesn't have the correct qualifications to be a manager in the league and i can't imagine the Premier League making an exception for him like they did for Roeder.

This was a shock. Thought Taylor was a cert for the job and would jump at the chance to manage in the PL at a club closer to home.

If you believe the papers, then Taylor although interviewed was not offered the job, hence his having to eat humble pie at Hull.

By all accounts Billy Davies has got it, if so P.I.G. may leap at the chance of Preston his home town club.

I understand that P.I.G. is originally from Consett, Co. Durham - although, you wouldn't think so, from the accent.

Read on the BBC website that P.I.G. is only 38. 38 going on 58, the miserable git.

Apparently according to soccerbase he was born in Chorley, Lancs. But a Middlesbrough supporting colleague insists he was brought up in Co. Durham. The 'Boro fan was desperate for Col Ewe to beat us to the league title because of this - quite possibly made up fact!
