with Palace not exactly setting the championship alight this season so far... I'd imagine Mr 'Tangerine' Jordan's trigger finger is itching....

If Spud was to get the sack, I think Ron could do well to pursuade him to take up a Director of Football role with us.

With the contacts he has in the game (from England U21's etc) and experience getting out of this ****e division, he could be the perfect guiding hand for young Tilson.

He is obviously close with Tilly and being a southend lad, i can't imagine he would hold us to ransom for wages.

Peter Taylor is not a good manager, every team I can think of he inherits a good team and turns them into a mediocre one. Theres nothing from his career that makes me want him here.

Whether he would have any value as a "Director of Football" I dont know, personally I dont really see the point in that position anyway.
