Boreham Blue

Match day squad⭐🦐
If you asked me at the beginning of the season what the perfect end would be if I could choose it would be to beat Crawley in the playoff final at Wembley.

Whilst it is a bit depressing to see how we have fallen from the autos this scenario is still very much a possibility.

I wonder if the decision to not loan out Bilel to Crawley might be the best business we did, as although he wouldn't have been able to play against us, I would want him in or around the box when we were looking for a winner.

I reckon a problem we will have will be how to create an atmosphere in the home semi. There is no doubt that the acoustic of the North really makes a difference, as does the gathering in one place of the most vocal fans. I suspect any playoff rivals will bring a big travelling support which may fill the North and therefore will not be available to home fans.

Perfect end would be a winning goal against Macc's in the 8th minute of stoppage time that puts us in the top 3 at creepys expense on goals scored.

To top that them losing on pens in the playoff final to anyone wouldnt be too hard on the eyes either..

If we hadn't been so high up for the whole season, and instead we managed to crawl ourselves up to the position we are in now, we would all be saying how we could sneak auto promotion. Although that may be the post pointless sentence I have ever written because that situation doesn't exist.

I still think it's possible, but at this very moment it looks like playoffs but we know how much it can change. And how quickly!

Unless we got Cheltnham on a tuesday night for the home leg. Can't see them bringing enough to take over the whole NB,

I predict in remaining games and will bet on all:

Wimbledon - 3-1 (Hall, Harris, Martin)
Torquay - 2-2 (Grant, Eastwood)
Barnet - 3-0 (Eastwood, Moshni, Phillips)
Oxford - 2-1 (Hall, Eastwood)
Macclesfield - 2-0 (Eastwood x 2)
