As we all know, we're under an embargo so can't sign anyone but does anyone else get the feeling that Ron could possibly be waiting for the monies from the Gary Hooper and Nicky Bailey deals to come our way to help clear it? Or is it not that simple and I'm looking to far into it.

Finally, do people think we'll pay it off in the first 14 days of July as he states? I can't see us doing so what with the two winding-up orders but who knows Added a poll for this one.

He also said the stadium would be started in June. He's an idiot for giving out dates, he could well be waiting for the money for those two potential transfers but he doesn't know when they're going to go through.

I don't think he is waiting for any transfer money. My take on this is that Sainsbury's are going to inject the cash needed to ensure we survive long enough to move into the new Stadium, and out of Roots Hall, but they weren't prepared to cough up until RM had complied with certain financial targets, eg reducing the wage bill, trimming the non-playing staff, etc. Hence the alacrity with which we acceeded to Adam and Macka's request to be released from their contracts, for instance.

And by gum, I hope I'm right!

Dates are indeed a hostage to fortune, but to be fair he said he HOPED to be on site in June.

.

I would imagine that both transfer fees would be paid in instalments, and we will certainly not see a penny for several months at least.

If it is anybody it can only be them...they are in to deep now and as RM said in his interview...he is now using Sainsbury's bank.

I can't see it happening. Would love it if it was paid off.
