Virgin are pretty good. Do have a decent phone already? If so, they do (did when I last looked) 300 texts & 300 minutes (anytime or network) for a tenner. This is the deal I have now.

There are plenty about. The usual one you'll are usually £17-18 for 750 texts & a certain number of minutes, usually 150 & a phone. Below is an example.

Depends on how much you use the phone. I use my tenners worth & I then pay 10p a text & 10-15p a minute for the first 5 or 10 & then it becomes cheaper. If you buy a block of minutes or texts, it gets cheaper.

Depends what you want, Orange have some pretty good deals as well, my daughter's is unlimited texts and (I think) 300 minutes, £20 a month plus I paid £40 for the handset she wanted. That was on their Dolphin package.

Amazing how people don't understand the phrase "pay as you go"!!!

Try asda, got my wifes phone from there about 6 months ago, they normally have 4 - 5 to choose from below fifty. Often includes a couple on "roll back" which were latest phones a few months ago

Oh yeah! :doh: My pay as you go is with O2, and their offers aren't too bad on regular top ups.
