I wish Tilly had gone in for someone like this in the summer, just what we're lacking up tops with Barny.

Best striker to play against us this season, ripped Barrett apart, and took the ****. His effort in the first half was world class and was unlucky not to drop in, his touch and link up play was esquisite.

That chant the Oldham fans sung was brilliant although adopted from Liverpool, its still very catchy.

Always Oldhams number nine that does us, Hughes in the last 2 seasons and now Abbott, coincidence?

I really hope Tilly makes a move for Abbott in January 100K might be enough to be accepted, be hard luring Pav south, but what a signing if we manage to get him.

Are you mad? We've got quite decent enought strikers and I can think of much better places in the squad to invest if we have the funds to. He only ripped Barrett apart because of the makeshift nature of the back 4. Hughes now, is another matter, he did almost single handedly rip us to pieces the last two times here.

Thought Abbott was anonymous myself. FAR too injury prone (more so than Barney used to be!) and by no means good enough for us if we want to progress as a club.
