A position applied for by many.
Some were certain, though others were woolly,
Though the club were amazed they got any.
They’re careful with each single penny,
(As Pat, I’m sure, understands fully)
Oh it’s strange that a team like Kilkenny
Appointed a man like Pat Scully.
