Carrying on from my previous thread.

This weekends visitors are Yeovil and we turn the clocks back to 27th September 2005

Southend United 4 Yeovil 1

Southend came from behind as a Phil Jevons free kick on stroke of half time gave Yeovil the lead. But the Shrimpers hit back through Gutteridge, Gray and Eastwood.

The Shrimpers had never beaten Yeovil in the league since the Somerset side promotion to the football league 2 seasons before

Luke Guttridge started United's revival as he thundered in from distance before Gray gave Steve Tilson's side the lead. However, it was another super sub - this time Freddy Eastwood - that hammered the final nail into the Glovers coffin as he scored twice in quick succession in the closing moments to cap off a fine fightback at Roots Hall.

The one I remember was just not Matt Harrold's day - a broken nose, a red card, and (I think) the last match he played for SUFC.
