Party poker popups!

I have set up a wirless P.C for my lad , everythings ok except that when his P.C is connected wirelessly on the internet he keeps getting these party poker poker pop ups and other crap constantly appearing on his monitor, does anyone no of a descent blocker software? I am running windows defender and NO ADWARE SE, Also A.V.G virus program but nothing is stopping or filtering them out, any help would be appreciated!

A couple of questions.
Is your lad the only one using the wireless connection?
Is the anti spam/pop up software actually on his PC or on the master computer?
You say I am running......is that your PC or your lads?

A PC on a wireless network is not protected from the pitfalls of the net because the master PC is jacked up to the nines with all available anti this and that software.

This is my problem, my main P.C is fine, it never allows popups or crap adverts , the only difference is that his is running A.V.G where as my is running NORTON system works! I have only just configured the A.D.S.L router today and as anyone who knows it can be a right pain in the a**e to set up!
