How strange?!?! Newcastle selling their inspirational captain, who when fit is crucial for them. £8.5M apparently, what are thoughts on this one?
 
Well they apprently after Joey Barton, maybe he does not fit into Big sam's plans. The problem now is with Nigel Reo Coker wnating to leave Wet Spam, they want Barton as well to replace him.

But allegedly by the end of the week, Big Sam will complete the signings of Joey Barton and Tal Ben Hiem! I recon he might do well with Newcastle.
 
I personally think that Parker's one of the most overrated players in the Premiership. Barton's a much better player.

In my opinion of course.
 
Well then that just shows that Big Sam knows what he is doing by getting rid of Parker and going in for Barton.

However Parker is a hard working, good player, where as Barton as a total ****er, and I know I would hate to have someone with his attitude in my side, just my opinion of course

Some of the best players in the world have bad attitudes! Rooney is a ****er but what a great player he is. Just because Barton likes to kick the **** out of people off the pitch doesn't affect his performence on the pitch. He is a class player!

Parker was superb at Charlton, but his career went stale whilst at Chelsea because he couldn't force his way into the team. He has picked up again at Newcastle, but I do find it strange that his off to West Ham. Perhaps Big Sam has been told to sell before he can spend...
 
Parker's missus has just had their third kid a couple of weeks or two back and was desperate to move back to London.
