Last season Oxford played Sheff utd in cup and lost 3-0
We then played them in LDV and won 1-0

This year Oxford was drawn Sheff utd again and again lost 3-0
What will the score be tomorrow night i wonder, Betting shop will be calling for that........ 1-0 win

Last season we beat them (twice in a row) before they lost to Sheffield United.

Why is everyone so obsessed with the Brentford game? Trapesing all the way across London in commuter traffic to a ground where we rarely win, pubs on each corner but all of them holes, where a team marshalled by a dull East German will if past experiences there are anything to go by will sneak a lucky one in the last minute to go through. If we do by some miracle win, the only joy will come from annoying all the press who have already booked their 'West London Derby' tickets as thereafter we have the glory of the Roots Hall ticket fiasco where on the basis that updating a voicemail message has taken so far at least five years with no end in sight we somehow have to sell 12,000 tickets in less than two weeks. I will then have the joy of looking forward to having to sacrifice a day's holiday for the joy a round trip of 110 miles to Q five hours in driving sleet for my ticket at one of the two open ticket terminals. :thump:

No, Oxford tomorrow night is FAR more important. A realistic chance of a fantastic day out at Wembley. Let's start talking about that! :loyalsupporter:

We shouldn't even be discussing Oxford. Of course we are going to wembley and should be chatting about tickets/prices etc instead! Can't believe the amount of Berkshire hunt's getting their knickers in a twist on other threads!
What's the deal with this game is it penalties at 90 mins if a draw?

I think we'll line up like this:-

Smith
Clohessy Phillips Cresswell Prosser
Hurst Woodyard Timlin Straker
Tomlin Benyon

Subs: Bently Barker Spicer Corr Martin

Hard one to call as Oxford have hit a bit of form, but hopeful we'll get through, 2-1 Tomlin & Hurst.

How many planning on going?

If that's our starting line-up then I really can't see us getting a result tonight. The midfield looks far too weak.
I'd play Dave Martin ahead of playing Straker out of position. I know we haven't got much choice up front what with all the injuries but that side doesn't inspire much confidence.

Isn't Oxford's main striker supposed to be suspended tonight too?

Bentley in as GK.....this is his competition.
SC, MP, Cressie and Barker
Hurst, Woodyard, Timlin,
Tomlin
Fred & Britt.

In it to WIN it!

maybe Martin, Straker or Spicer for other midfield slot if Fred is not ready. Benyon & LP on bench.

But guessing PS's line ups is just guessing when he is forced to make changes/injuries are unknown.
