Poor sod! He has no family connection with the town or club, has never lived in or even visited Southend and yet is till afflicted with the life-long affliction of being a Shrimper and all the misery and heartache that goes with it.  

Seriously though, hope he makes it over for a match or two and when he's finished drinking the pint that Matt bought him there'll be another coming over from me!

Possibly mis-leading... We water our beer down and charge double in the South-East!!! If you really want a decent pint - ask for R.Whites... you really won't tell the difference (R.Whites is lemonade by the way

).

If you really want a cracking pint, suggest anywhere north of Watford Gap.
