Anybody been to the Steak House in Basildon opposite ASDA in Miles Gray Road??

Taking the Mrs there tonight so I wanted to give her some steak then slip her a sausage when I get home....

but seriously anybody ever been any good?

Went a couple of weeks ago. Very busy, they try and turn you round so they can get someone else at your table. The staff were rushed off their feet , but it was a saturday night. I thought it was overpriced as well.
That said it was immensely popular and must be making an absolute fortune, and the food was fine (although my Step daughters salad was disapointing) but I wouldn't go back in a hurry. However the "bloomin onion" was splendid

Haven't been to that particular outlet but the Outback in Romford Brewery serves mighty fine steaks and I would recommend it highly.

Been there a couple of times recently, Food is ok and staff are pretty good.
You have to wait at the the Bar a little while to be seated, so a chance for you to look good with a Malibu and pineapple!

I took my girlfriend the other night, its actually one of the chaines that I actually like. I used to go all the time the place was the nuts, I still enjoyed the other night the food was good the menu big, and bottemless soft drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed.....

TB, how did you get on? I was not on SZ yesterrday so did not post, but the Outback is where I get my takeaways because if we must eat hamburgers, it's not going to be from Mcdonalds.

When we've eaten inside the restaurant it's akways been good, espcially for families, they even give you colouring in books and a quiz, di yiu get those?

The owner of the franchise, is a nice American chap.

The owner of the Franchise, Is a really nice bloke and if your in on a quite night, will take the effort to have a chat... There is a new steak house... in "SCUM"chester but you have 2 options, mile high buger, 44o of meat in a burger with chips and a salad, or a 44o steak with suace chips and salad, either meal, clear the plate in under a hour, with no more that 5 soft drinks, and you and your table(s) meals are paid for, yes, ive tried but never succeedded
