Our rivals games in hand ......

Is it just me or do you ,when things get this good, look at every minute detail in the hope that it will make things feel even better ?? I thought i'd take a close look at the League table today and see whats what and was pleasantly pleased with the detail. Although ColWho? have 2 games in hand they are both actually away games , the same with Brentford , Barnsley the only other team in the mix have 1 game in hand but also an away game !! All good news , eh ? We have played 15 at home and 16 away ColWho? played 15 at home and only 14 away Swansea played 16 at home and 15 away Barnsley played 16 at home and 14 away Brenford played 16 at home and only 13 away Also the average points gained per away game is as follows S.U.F.C. 1.75 per game ColWho? 1.64 per game Swansea 1.33 per game Barnsley 1.14 per game Brentford 1.69 per game Now I know i'm sad !!!! Cant believe i've sat and worked all that out but I'd just thought i'd share it and see if you lot can read anything into it ? I am really starting to think we are going up !!!! Again !!! P.S. never forget ( even if things turn bad in the future ) that Tilly is a big a fan of SUFC as us lot but he happens to be Manager. P.P.S. Who has committed the most fouls , and is therefore the dirtiest player in League One ......... take a guess

In interesting point, and quite encouraging - just because his attempt to tabulate has gone tits-up, doesn't make him wrong!

I don't care whether you are/were p%&sed or can/can't type.

The fact is that he's correct that one of Scum Ewe's games in hand is the home fixture tomorrow vs The Iron.  It was called off the night we were away at the Monkey Hangers.  Whether or not that means they will then have played 2 more home than away is a 1 game quirk of the fixture list & the result of the away game cancelled for the Derby tie.
oops.gif

The game postponed for the next FA cup tie was home to Hartlepool, which will even it up a bit.

Col U play Scunny tomorrow. They're struggling at the bottom, so I've not got much hope of them doing us any favours...

However, a win on Friday would see us back on top!

I have a sneaky feeling that Scunthorpe can nick a point tomorrow.

Col Ewe struggle against SUFC's (Sheff. U don't count as it was their reserves!)

Well, hello Prittlewell, and a very good afternoon to you. Nice to see you didn't wake up with a sore head this morning and that your sense of humour is intact.

The fact remains Hooly was spot on, one of their games in hand is at home tomorrow night, the fact that they have more away games to play than us is merely a quirk of the fixtures computer. If they win both of their games in hand, then it will not be so significant that they have more away games to play, as they will have a four point advantage over us.

You can take it eitehr way, they may be playing at home to catch up, but they also have to play more away games.

I hope scunny can nick sumin from them, a 1-1 draw would be nice.

5-0 hammering would be even nicer. A guy can dream!

How about thinking that Col Ewe wwill win tomorrow night. Then, if they do you would have expected it, if they don't then you would be extra pleased.

As long as they lose I don't care if technically it was a game in hand or not.

Just one other fact - who has committed the most fouls in League 2? You guessed it - Dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewe!! And he has spent at least 6 games suspended. What a legend!
