Ok, after the uproar from after Birmingham lets reflect on the last month.
We have now lost only once in 6 games and that was to the league leaders.
Played 6, won 2 drawn 3 lost 1.
So not as bad as what was being said after Birmingham eh ?
Today we showed we have the ability to compete at this level, what we dont have is confidence and self belief, which hopefully is improving. Prior to scoring we looked very lacklustre and hadnt had a shot, then JCR produced a huge bit of magic and as soon as we scored you could see the team start to play.
We may not be good enough to challenge for a top 8 finish but are surely good enough to play in this division.
The only problem is it took us until December to start to really compete, which could well be too late.
We have a very tough January, with only one home match, I just hope we can pick up a point against Cardiff and beat Derby to keep what momentum we have going.
Still going to take a miracle to stay up but at least we look like we can give it a go.
(PS Why couldnt Col U beat QPR for us
