Orient Game Re-arranged

This isn't good news in my opinion.

In the next four weeks we have MK Dons, Chelsea, Stockport and now Orient away, how deep do they think our pockets are?

(Not to mention Liverpool or Man United away in the fourth round shortly after).

I know these matches are meant to be rearranged as soon as possible but there should be some thought given to the cash paying public, it you were to go to all four its going cost you the best part of £100 in admission.

My thoughts exactly. I was hoping it would be re-arranged for March, so as to give a lot of us fans a few weeks to build up cash flow after the hammering our pockets will/have taken at the moment. Cant see me going, and be surprised if we are able to muster up 1500 for this one.

I suppose that the good news is that as it's on a Tuesday we won't be plagued with the dreaded Rail Replacement Buses.

Bonus, I am off for this one. Jesus Jan is going to be an expensive month for me football wise.

correct it could cost the best pat of £100, but people could do what i do,as i lead my life round the football club and go each week its does cost a small amount, so each xmas i ask for for the dec\jan away game tickets that way only need to pay out for travel

so i got MK Dons,Chelsea and the cash for Stockport thats saves me around £50 as i can get student tickets

well done to the same faces who travel each week for putting your hand in your pocket at this poor time

I got my chelsea ticket and coach paid via christmas presents, also my stockport ticket and train, my mk dons ticket and coach, and the LUVERLY yellow shirt

I agree I was looking at March time

Januarys is a expensive time will all the bills hitting our post boxes... still see us having 1000 plus as we have loads of Shrimpers who work in the City

Its all a cunning plan by Borient. By having it so soon after Crimbo, it mean that there is less chance of us having the 2000 or so we had last year & therefore make less noise! It was more like a home game for us last year & they want every advantage they can!

There's also three very do-able away games in February, so another expensive month. Peterborough, Swindon and Col U.

It's only money, what you worrying about?

At least i could walk to work from there after the game and wait for everyone to come in at 5am.

not really all three very close and cost around £40 to travel to all three via the train even less to drive with 4 in the car

id say its cost about £40 again for tickets so £80 for all three games is well good, and lets face it you wouldnt go anyway so why both commenting

Sorry? Might be sitting here a bit thick headed this morning, but don't understand what you're saying? There's a comment earlier on in the thread about January being an expensive month, so I was just pointing out that February is following the trend. We can't all go to ALL away games, but those ones are nearer ones so take up less time and are also cheaper on travel and therefore more likely to attract our away support.
