Question openreach/TalkTalk

SUFC_Ross

Coach
So Monday there was an open reach van that pulled down my road and started working, I walked my daughter to school and by the time I got home he'd packed up and left, got back inside and have been left with no dial tone and no internet in my house, spoke to TalkTalk as they are my provider they said as there was an openreach van outside and its outside the property It isn't TalkTalk's problem and to contact openreach, funnily enough openreach are saying the same thing its not there problem and to take it up with my provider to get it sorted.

can anyone shed any light? how do I go about getting this fixed?

E-mail dido.harding@talktalkplc.com

Her office will then deal with it and they are a lot quicker than going through the usual channels.

If they come back and say it's an openreach issue point out that your contract is with talktalk and not openreach.

Also e-mail your MP cc clive.selley@openreach.co.uk and complain about OpenReach's monopoly and how they are apparently screwing you over but you can't change provider.

Good luck.

did exactly this but with BT. I think all the major players have an executive complaints office who then take things forward and actually have power for compensation etc.
