Yes, that time of the week again...

slight difference this week though...

with some of you calling last weeks choice cheesy, but others loving it, i bring here two options to you this week, calling on the people of SZ to vote for this weeks special one...

First up we have a 1994 number 1 from Antonio Di Bartholamu...a decended Italian plumber from maidstone, who prodcued his tracks from a studio up above his plumbers shop...

Second up we have a Trance classic from 1999. The original effort was ok, but the radio edit that was chosen (the Airscape remix), along with sultry vocals from Sarah McLachlan, propelled this anthem to number 3 in the charts..

Delerium featuring Sarah McLachlan - Silence (Airscape Radio Edit)

For me Tony Di Bart defined the 1990's.

From Wikipedia:

Before his chart success, he had his own business "Cameo Bathrooms" in Slough and built his own studio above the shop.

Erm What was Sarah McLachlan doing on a trance record, very odd..although I like her.

the original album version and radio edit were at a much slower tempo, but never really got picked up by radio. It was the Airscape and Tiesto mixes that got it into the clubs etc, and the Airscape mix subsiquently that got picked up by radio and led to a succesful charting.

Silence was re-released in 2004
