One to start the weekend (Week 28)

This weeks 12stw takes us back to August 2003, and to a number 2 monster hit.

Incredibly, it took 4 years for an album to emerge for this fantastic act who hail from Liverpool (number 8 in last weeks charts).

A cover of an old Force and Styles hardcore tune, this was kept of of the top spot for two weeks only by Sean Paul and Blu Cantrells Breathe.

hmm, interesting... as the Flip & Fill remix is not on eithr CD 1 or CD 2 of the single release, and you are unlikely to have the promo vinyl, i can only deduce that you are the only other person i know who has the Flip & Fill album, which has the rather splendid bonus Mix CD?

and curse you, CRW track now has me digging out CD2 of the Kevin & Perry Go Large soundtrack for a a wee trance session!

Indeed - I have a copy of Flip & Fill's 'Floorfillas' and CD2 is rather good (except for the Scooter track; I hate that guy with a ****ing passion!) and it has been well used in the past when I dabbled with an attempt to be the new "Frankie Wilde".

There is a beach bar just up the coast close to Oliva called Oli-Ba-Ba which became a regular haunt this summer (it's closed for the season now - boo!) and Sunday night used to be a great night for a bit of trance. Dancing in the beach bar, on the beach around it and even in the sea - great place to chill, great place to drink, great place to dance, great place to pick up a bit of naughty baccy. We missed the closing party (due to CD Javea playing their opening game of the season) but already we can't wait for next summer!
