Makes me laugh fingers crossed if they believe that, they'll be in for a big shock at 3pm.

Unfortunately, Freddy did little to prove their criticisms wrong today. He must have put on the wrong boots today, he managed to find space in the second half but just couldn't finish.

In the end, it was our lack of composure on the ball that saw us lose today. We gave possession away far too easily (the midfield being the main guilty party here) and IIRC we only had two shots on target, both straight at the keeper.

Oh well, that's the life of a Shrimper I suppose. Hopefully Tilly can pull the boys together for our return to Roots next week. Let's not give "St Niall" Sunderland's first points of the season!

UTB!

Yes, QPR will have a view of Freddy thats not really true as he wasn't himself today. Im sure he'll do well against Sunderland though.

I don't think we meant to start the clapping. After the short speech was read out there was a ripple of applause which I think mainly came from our end. The QPR fans up the other end then started clapping & it spread around the whole ground with players also joining in.

Hope the boy's mother & father didn't mind? I don't think so as even the QPR club official standing next to them on the pitch was clapping.

But why did Freddy have an off day?........

Because after all we have seen, he is actually human?...

Or did he have something on his mind I wonder?...

Yeah the blokes in front of me started clapping when the parents walked on and it just spread really quickly. I think a minutes silence is more respectful but if the parents liked it then that's what matters.

I think if you were the boy looking down on it than you would feel so much more respect coming from clapping than silence.

However a minutes silence does make you think about what happened and may have been better.

I think of somone dies clapping is more respectful as it shows appreciation for their life more than a silence where you mourn someone.

I was thinking that a bit too but I was never going to say as much on there.

Then again, whilst parts of it seem fairly fair, it's definitely on the negative side of an assessment.
