Echo News On loan Shrimpers striker Pepple on his long-term future

I cant see Echo web pages.. so would be grateful if someone could summarise

Any chance it says that his contract is up in the summer, Luton is a cr&phole and he would much prefer to stay on the Essex Rivieria and sign a 5 year deal?

I was doing all the echo pages for everyone to see(Along with RHB), but someone complained.

ON LOAN Southend United striker Bim Pepple is focusing on his form rather than his future.

The hard-working forward, who is with Blues from Luton Town, has already become a firm favourite with the Roots Hall faithful.

But Pepple is not thinking about what will happen when his loan spell with the Shrimpers expires at the end of the season.

"I'm taking it one step at a time but it's still only November and hopefully I can keep this form going throughout the season," said Pepple.

"Whatever happens from there happens but my future is not really in my hands.

" I'm contracted to Luton so we'll see what happens but I'm just focused on the next game really."

Pepple, who has a year left with an option of a further 12 months on his Luton contract, has scored four goals in 10 starts with Blues.

But he was unable to stop Kevin Maher's side suffering a 1-0 defeat to Yeovil Town on Saturday.

"It was frustrating for various reasons and the officiating was a bit different than usual to deal with," said Pepple.

"The nature of the goal we conceded was frustrating too because we still could've got something from the game but we move on to the next one now."

The Shrimpers head to Altrincham this weekend and Pepple cannot wait for kick off.

"We're really excited to get back out there and get back to winning ways too," said the 21-year-old.

"When you lose you just want the next game to come as quickly as possible to get it out your system.

"I've not played them before but I've heard they have a good attack and are a good side.

"But no matter who we play against if we play the way we're capable of we'll be fine."

And Pepple is eager to help make that happen.

"It's been really fun here," said the forward.

"I was looking in the summer and I wanted to find somewhere I could go and play and enjoy my football.

"The gaffer has given me that opportunity and I'm really thankful for that.

"I'm trying to keep on showing why I should keep playing and keep showing that hunger to get more goals and more assists.

"Hopefully I can keep making the fans happy too. "
