The edited highlights from today read that they say Barrett was "immense" at the back and that Eastwood apparently "scared them to death."

i'll try to shed a bit more light on it mate.

thought it was a fair result. southend struck the woodwork twice, once from a well hit effort from outside the box and once from close range from a set piece. oldham had a good few opportunities too, beckett striking over when clean through and two or three good long rangers from andy liddell. would have been harsh had either side won it.

sodje and the other bloke at centre half were solid at the back. stam stood out for oldham in my opinion. good to see swailes on the park.

does anyone know anything about the paul edwards injury??? hope it's not serious as he has been a key player these past few weeks.

have to say, in my humble opinion, freddy eastwood was the best player i've seen at boundary park this season. of course, not every team has visited yet, but so far, he stands out a mile. looked a class act.

just to say well done to col u (sorry southend fans had to be done), and to huddersfield on a great effort too.

That's great - nice to know that opposition fans can see Freddy's class even if some of our own lot can't.

Yep, I've been underwhelmed by all the transfer enquiries for his signature.
