Just an idea to put forward that the club may wish to subsidise coach travel for the last away game of the season to really give the lads a good send off on the away games for 2008/09 season?

I don't expect the club to pay for it but maybe help with the pricing just as a thank you from the club for sticking by the team once more!

Should I put this question to the club?

Would be a good idea, and I imagine it will persuade a few more fans to head up there if this was done.

RM has done it quiet a bit since his been here, including Donny last season. Would be a lovely touch, especially with times as they are.

With the funding now in place for the ground I would assume some funds would now be classed as available that were held back to support the funding should they be needed.

i agree with this and was talking about this yesterday out side TGI but you wouldnt remember to busy chasing Northampton fans :)
 
I'd be up for that. It would Be a nice touch from the clus aswell. Get it done son, and count me in. suppose I could get a few of my lot aswell

Top idea number 1,reckon it might work,come on uncle ron listen to the man.
 
Good idea, but can't see it happening. Would help out in the wallet department, but if games such as Col U weren't subsidised, then Oldham away hasn't got much hope really.

If the die hards wanna be there, they will, regardless.

I cant understand what you mean? Colchester......spit.... and local derbys are usually sell outs anyway,so theres no need.....Oldham away last away day of season with only a few hundred set to travel....would surlely be the perfect game to subsidised.


Good call come on Ron with the extra cup money this season get your wallet out......and maybe a few familys will make the trip.
(a small gesture at a very tight time for a lot of people)
maybe the extra fans will spur the lads on to create a far fetched miracle?
 
Perhaps Col U wasnt a good example. What about games such as Carlisle or Hartlepool? One being longest away trip of the season and the other being on a cold friday night.

Im not saying its a bad idea, but just can't see it happening.

Prices seem about right for coaches anyway, £25 for everybody on SoL coach with free hot drinks and food onboard.

And £25 for Trust coach (£30 for non-members)
