Old argument done properly!

Manager
Ok been here before but lets try to keep this in perspective rather than turn into the usual slagging match!
After both having made a few first team starts lets redo Daryll vs Bart in a championship manager way comparing on your opinion on stats for each player.
Daryll Bart
Agility 12 9
Bravery 10 15
Command
of area 8 18
Handling 18 10
Judgement 15 10
Error prone 5 13
Jumping 10 14
Distribution 18 10
Shot stopping18 13
Overall 114 112
So Daryll is number 1 for me personally!
Ok anyone wanna add catagories do so and its my first post so go easy on me!

Hey, its a good idea - these kind of things normally surprise you when you go through and tot up the stats...

Bit biased that one though - one of Flavs faults is he doesnt come off his line, which would drop Judgement and Error proneness...

How about a Hunt v Prior battle...

How on earth have you decided to give Flavs 18 for distribution? He wants to take an age over everything!

I also think Darryls braver than the 10 you give him, his jumping ain't all that otherwise he would make up for his lack of height, and Barts judgement I think is better than you have suggested.

But, as you say, it's all about opinion.

Flavs will save some that Bart won't and vice-versa. They each have different attributes and failings.

However, at this level, to be honest, I'd rather have Bart.

With distribution i'm not going on time i'm going on where the ball ends up and 9 outta 10 its on Drewes head or up in the middle of the oppostion half, not at the feet of Kiddeminster players 30 yards out. As for judgement most things Daryll does come for he claims, unfortunately he doesn't come out enough, he has the ability but not the confidence I feel. But you both made very valid comments and the kinda thing I want to encourage on this board. I would love to see peoples perception on Prior Hunt but for me I'd rather Hunt played. I feel he's faster, better passing and just better in most areas IMO.

But Drewe's always on the bench ...

Well not then obviously!!!!!!
But when he was playing every game last season, Grieminks kicks always seem to aim at Pettefer our shortest player, anyone else notice that???

I didn't even notice Bart playing for us last season at all, let alone all season. Christ, he's grown!

That might also be something to do with Drewe.....

I'd argue that nine times out of ten it lands on the head of the defender that is marking Drewe.

What about the quick throw outs and kicks Bart makes to the defence or midfield. He keeps the game flowing that way and allows us to break.
It's all very good kicking the ball out to land on Drewes head, but where does it end up after?

The distribution rankings are a bit unfair IMO.

Distribution 18 10

You are having a laugh with that . Flavs distribution is as poor as any goalkeeper i have seen. The amount of times we could have had a break on and all he does is just stand there instead while our players sprint out wide only to be dissapointed. And only when the opposition are back in position does he kick the ball which nine times out of ten comes straight back at us. Darryl is more agile then bart but that is it. Bart gets might vote any day of the week for being an allrounder. Flavs is a good number two though!!
