Official Site Launch

I am happy to say that http://www.pringello.co.uk is hereby officially launched.

Me and ChapperzUK have spent a good bit of time on the site to ensure it looks good and functions well. Please have a butchers at what we've got going on and any feedback will be greatly appreciated (good or bad).

Also, we would love to here what statistics you would like to see on our statistics page.

If you're on twitter, follow us @Pringello and help spread the word. The more votes we get, the more accurate our data.

Note: Chapperz is still working on a few of the database features so keep an eye out for these. They will be announced on the twitter feed and on here as and when.

Looking good my only query would be you have printed a list of fixtures for games not played yet and I think you may find that is against the FL rules as the fixtures belong to them and the data company they use..There was a big problem with this a few years back and a Watford site got closed down over it. I can't find the exact details now and sorry to bring you bad news.

Correct, as we can, although we discuss the next game before it happens.

I have removed forward fixtures from the database for the minute and will look into it further to see what we can and can't publish, thanks for the heads up.

Once you have fine tuned it can see it working keep it simple
just a quick question can one person give multiple votes if so i can see some people voting more than once to keep there favourite player at the top ....if you see what i mean

We have put provisions in so you should only get one vote per IP address. People can get round this but we can see on the database any anomalies that occur and if people start taking privileges and voting multiple times, then we'll add something else, but ideally we would rather not do this.

Great job guys. Looks really professional. If it goes well this year I could see it being expanded to being across the board, having a section for each team and make it a proper database of all divisions.

EDIT: One small pineckety note, the footer needs sticking to the bottom. Always annoying to do, but if you need a hand gimme a holla.

Also, do you have the rights to display the player images? Worth checking.

As far as I know, we can have player images taken from training and Meet The Blues Day with the permission of the photographers, as long as players are not wearing official kit. However, I will send a quick email to the club confirming this.

Voting is now up for today's match also.
