I don't know if it's just me but over the past few days I've noticed different forms of media are gearing up for their "Votes of the decade".

I'm not wanting to step on any of the owners/mods toes but I was wondering if this auspicious website was thinking of doing something similar, I know we always tend to have various debates/votes at the end of the calendar (& football) year anyway.

I was thinking we could maybe have SUFC related categories as well as other more poster or non-football topic related areas. Although, I remember from before some people's feedback was that all the "Battle of" & other voting competitions do tend to annoy some posters.

Thoughts & ideas?

Just to clear up the "treading on toes" point... perhaps I speak only for myself, but this is a fans' forum - so it's for you guys to set the agenda. We're only here to make sure a modicum of order and decorum is generally maintained.

Yep, good point. I probably could have worded that a bit better. I think though that last time I suggested a big idea like this, I got told ideas were already in hand and so it sort of took the wind out of my sails a bit!

and then footy ones like:
