OD - Week 11

MrB

Life President
We play former I.1 stalwarts AFC Wimbledon. Jon_Boy is NT manager and has basically set up a farm team now, housing the following:

Jamie Tuckett - 29 yo, BT Rating=584,408
Dan Doyle - 27 yo, BT Rating=1,449,315
Christian Hindle - 27 yo, BT Rating=370,574

That's over £2m worth of wages per week! They've thrown games up till now but the international games have finished and I suspect he'll play them to keep form up. Could be interesting!

Of course, if he doesn't then it will be a walkover as his next best player is 18k!

Lost Waterhouse and Raven early on but have Browne/Sookram at the crease, who dont actually bat well together! Im 3rd and play 4th. 4 points off the play-offs so i could with a win. Hopes of promotion are gone so need to finish 3rd or 4th!

Can you guess whether the internationals are playing?

End of Over 12: 103-0, runrate=8.58
Hawes 1-0-9-0
Cunningham* 42 (34 balls)
Sandile 58 (38 balls)

This isn't going to last much longer

End of Over 14: 44-4, runrate=3.14
Cowling 2-0-6-0
Hoult* 13 (45 balls)
Gichki 4 (7 balls)
Last Wicket: Hulse st. Sugden b. Leacock 0 (FOW: 36/4)

Welcome to BWB CG for the match between BWB and Southend.

We can tell you that BWB won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

End of Over 14: 71-1, runrate=5.07
Smith 2-0-8-0
Davenport* 13 (25 balls)
Hazel 49 (49 balls)
Last Wicket: Tsietsi c & b. Wilson 8 (FOW: 32/1)

Yet again lost the toss, annoyingly, but we're ticking along. They have a spinner earning 157k per week on, so I'm glad I'm not at home on my dusty pitch, whilst I also am playing Rautenbach to save Deakin's PFL for BB's purchase, and also to suit the pitch.

Need to post a good total though, 250+ required. Must win, as I've had members leaving since the cup exit.

High score looking under threat, wish I'd gone Very Attacking!!

End of Over 17: 157-0, runrate=9.24
Aaron 2-0-25-0
Sandile* 89 (55 balls)
Cunningham 65 (47 balls)

End of Over 20: 81-2, runrate=4.05
Moodley 5-0-20-0
Browne* 48 (69 balls)
Sookram 24 (37 balls)

Last Wicket: Raven c. Akhtar b. Whittington 3 (FOW: 17/2)

Slowed down but Sandy has his eye on Saj's record score of 215*.

End of Over 30: 235-0, runrate=7.83
Samran 5-0-31-0
Cunningham* 97 (85 balls)
Sandile 133 (96 balls)

End of Over 31: 107-4, runrate=3.45

Ok, maybe not!

Cunningham 112 (93 balls)

Last Wicket: Sandile c. Townley b. Hawes 150 (FOW: 268/1)

Last Wicket: Browne b. Moodley 83 (FOW: 148/3)

The players are off the field for the break between innings.

End of Over 39: 127-10, runrate=3.26
Roscoe 8-0-24-3
Cahill* 0 (3 balls)

38.6 W Roscoe to Lake
That's seamed in from well outside off. Lake offers no shot and the umpire has no choice but to give him out.

End of Over 48: 254-4, runrate=5.29
Roache 9-0-50-1
Cook* 27 (20 balls)
Sookram 121 (108 balls)

Last Wicket: Deane b. Whittington 13 (FOW: 190/4)

Cooky's 43 off 26 balls helped us to a good total and i'd hope we can defend this!!

End of Over 50: 276-5, runrate=5.52
Roache 10-0-55-2
Lamb* 3 (3 balls)
Sookram 124 (111 balls)

Should win this one, although it's H+F / Sunny

Could be a close one for Mrs BB,

Mighty White Rose v DIBS DIPPERS

Mighty White Rose won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Flat

Rautenbach 1-0-6-0
Latham* 32 (44 balls)
Hendro 53 (46 balls)

Not looking promising. Two wickets and the standard drops dramatically, but we need to get them first.

End of Over 18: 76-3, runrate=4.22, reqrunrate=6.28 (276-5)
Cook 4-0-19-0
Kearney* 21 (43 balls)
Parkin 47 (50 balls)
