OD Match 12

* ORM *

Still Loves Emma Bunton. Roy McDonough is God!
Me 5th away to 7th. Fourth should lose today so I would swap places on NRR then have a winner takes all next week. Taking nothing for granted as 7th builds his team around 2 ridiculous players who bat 3 and 4. Get one of them out and it should be comfortable.

More bot bashing, set all bowlers to V. attacking

End of Over 12: 10-6, runrate=0.83
Gichki 1-0-3-1
Condo* 2 (5 balls)
Feasey 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Whittles lbw b. Gichki 3 (FOW: 10/6)

Playing 4th place, they have a very good team so it's a GFI as we can't afford any slip ups.

End of Over 18: 106-0, runrate=5.89
Haynes 4-0-16-0
Sinethemba* 58 (56 balls)
Lamey 47 (52 balls)

Be happy with 250+ but hopefully will be a bit more as it's sunny in Surrey. Will be interested to see how HHH and Diggers get on on their greentop as I'm considering switching to that myself.

End of Over 26: 134-1, runrate=5.15
Tandy 8-0-45-0
Guneratne* 8 (13 balls)
Lamey 62 (73 balls)

Last Wicket: Sinethemba c. Wray b. Flower 62 (FOW: 114/1)

We can tell you that Jimbos All Strars won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 38: 226-2, runrate=5.95
Nolan 9-0-45-1
Sookram* 91 (80 balls)
Waterhouse 69 (91 balls)

Last Wicket: Zamora c. Lane b. Nolan 42 (FOW: 72/2)

My lot are flying along here, especially considering the weather! Lost Guy for 15 and Zamora got a quick whilst opening! Oppo sit 5th and are no mugs having won 5 games this season. I bowled them out for 130 at my place, after setting them 255 to win in Matchday 5...

End of Over 50: 295-2, runrate=5.90
Manchester 10-0-62-0
Sookram* 121 (118 balls)
Waterhouse 106 (125 balls)

Last Wicket: Zamora c. Lane b. Nolan 42 (FOW: 72/2)

Only 55 in the last 10 is pretty annoying but more than happy with that total!

Mbata responding to my moaning ...

End of Over 7: 30-3, runrate=4.29, reqrunrate=6.19 (295-2)
Mbata 4-0-10-3
Martins* 1 (1 balls)
Khuliso 22 (27 balls)

Last Wicket: Hendrik b. Mbata 1 (FOW: 15/3)

Crantock v BATTY SHRIMPERS

1st of 3 big games in the next 3 weeks. We beat them earlier in the season, but they have since added another international to the 2 they already had. Would have taken a chase of 228 at the start, but could have done without losing Evelyn early doors.

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy day.

End of Over 9: 30-1, runrate=3.33, reqrunrate=4.83 (227-2)
Convery 5-0-15-1
Pollock* 10 (19 balls)
Downing 18 (24 balls)

Last Wicket: Evelyn c. Hezeltine b. Convery 2 (FOW: 5/1)

DIBS DIPPERS v Southend

SZ Derby, Mrs BB at full-strength, mutual TIE agreed.

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 10: 46-3, runrate=4.60, reqrunrate=5.20 (253-2)
Sipho 5-0-9-2
Gowland* 5 (13 balls)
Tyson 25 (21 balls)

Last Wicket: Morgan c. Chill b. Sipho 0 (FOW: 23/3)

End of Over 21: 77-6, runrate=3.67, reqrunrate=7.55 (295-2)
Deane 4-0-8-2
Nolan* 2 (3 balls)
Manchester 0 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Tembo c. Browne b. Deane 12 (FOW: 75/6)

No impact in terms of wickets but the RRR is rising steadily an dGustav is being much more economical in the middle overs.

End of Over 30: 132-1, runrate=4.40, reqrunrate=7.80 (287-3)
Gustav 5-0-17-0
Bartle* 45 (65 balls)
Bartlett 61 (86 balls)

Last Wicket: Ngubane b. Helmsley 24 (FOW: 37/1)

I reckon we'll win.

End of Over 47: 217-5, runrate=4.62, reqrunrate=23.67 (287-3)
Helmsley 9-0-37-3
Wallace* 19 (21 balls)
Wray 5 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Flower c. Marriott b. Helmsley 0 (FOW: 205/5)

Why, why why is it that with wickets in hand, and within reach of a low target, my batsmen always seem to block out the last few overs? They've been chugging along nicely all match, and now decide to play like a Boycott and Tavare partnership?

easily won mine only to find 4th beating 1st - this means even if i beat him next week I have to beat top last week to finish 4th.

I go 8th in the promotion table!! Next Friday is the big game i need to win as they sit 3rd and are a decent side and are only in level 7 on the FC front. My last game is against a side who has sold his best players and is having a break from the game for a while so that should be a decent NRR boost for me as long as i win next week! If i **** it up im going to be fuming!
