OD - Match 10

BILLERICAY BLUE

Rose Tinted Brigade Member⭐⭐🦐
Home to a BOT today, so although we're at full-strength, we are on a TIE. It's not going to take long.

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Blackstar

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a little uneven. Should be tough for the batsmen on this sunny day.

End of Over 5: 22-7, runrate=4.40
Middleton 3-1-8-6
Parlour* 1 (1 balls)
Handbury 6 (11 balls)

Last Wicket: Dagnall lbw b. Middleton 4 (FOW: 21/7)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB's at home to the side in 5th place. She's off to a good start and should win.

DIBS DIPPERS v Pardoes Pageantry

We can tell you that Pardoes Pageantry won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

End of Over 6: 15-3, runrate=2.50
Eagles 3-1-8-2
Durant* 2 (6 balls)
Nico 0 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Bardsley lbw b. Eagles 5 (FOW: 15/3)

Fitness issues but hopefully we should be ok today. Hayter is looking forward to the dusty track.

Welcome to Immortals CG for the match between Immortals and ShrimperZone CC.

We can tell you that Immortals won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 7: 43-0, runrate=6.14
Engelbrecht 4-0-21-0
Lamey* 33 (27 balls)
Cunningham 9 (15 balls)

that's that done then.

And that's the end of the match. Pettefershire CCC won by 10 wickets.
eye 14-10
Pettefershire CCC 16-0

Nearly done here as well.

Mrs BB well on her way to a victory.

Pardoes Pageantry won the toss and elected to bat.
Pitch: Green

Looking good for a rare 300+ score.

Gooden 1-0-5-0
Sandile* 42 (43 balls)
Cunningham 45 (54 balls)

Pitch: Green
And that's the end of the match. BATTY SHRIMPERS won by 10 wickets.
Blackstar 32-10
BATTY SHRIMPERS 36-0

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great performance from Mrs BB's bowlers.

DIBS DIPPERS v Pardoes Pageantry

Pardoes Pageantry won the toss and elected to bat.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 22: 49-9, runrate=2.23
Eagles 6-3-11-4
Solanki* 0 (6 balls)
Ganfield 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Ifill c. Stride b. Eagles 5 (FOW: 49/9)

Welcome to General Stars CG for the match between General Stars and Lancaster Bombers.

We can tell you that General Stars won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

End of Over 23: 84-6, runrate=3.65
Cook 5-1-13-1
Malik* 9 (18 balls)
Chavda 1 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Dance c. Browne b. Raven 1 (FOW: 83/6)

Jackman star man so far taking 3-25 but Guy getting the dude below early doors helped!
Eugene Daley

Eugene is a LH Batsman and LH Spin Bowler. He is an attacking player with worthless leadership skills and competent experience.
Age: 21 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 183,008
Wages: £62,031 p/w

Hoping to skittle them for as cheap as poss as we all know what my lot are like batting. Big game this as this guys are 7th, with me in 5th!

Kev

Struggling along today in what should be a close game:

End of Over 28: 120-4, runrate=4.29
Dickson 4-1-12-0
Salmon* 17 (30 balls)
Eyles 22 (37 balls)

Last Wicket: Hulse lbw b. Ndah 11 (FOW: 90/4)

Great bowling from Cook and Raven (current 4-2-5-3) here!

End of Over 29: 88-9, runrate=3.03
Cook 8-4-13-2
Daniel* 0 (5 balls)
Aaron 0 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Gillespie lbw b. Raven 0 (FOW: 88/9)

Sandy in runs shocker! The worlds worst Remarkable (almost Wonderful) batsman (career average 33) is actually pulling his weight for a change.

End of Over 35: 198-1, runrate=5.66
Gooden 6-0-35-0
Cunningham* 70 (81 balls)
Sandile 83 (94 balls)

Last Wicket: Lamey c. Hearn b. Engelbrecht 40 (FOW: 52/1)

I'm currently third playing away at 4th. On a flat track they're 215-3 after 40. Beat these guys by 4 runs earlier this season which was probably my best overall win as these guys have a much better all round side than me, if my batsmen do a good job it could be another close affair.

End of Over 50: 330-2, runrate=6.60
Swayne 10-0-73-0
Wright* 76 (51 balls)
Marcel 62 (45 balls)
Last Wicket: Artell Run Out 106 (FOW: 192/2)

End of Over 50: 302-4, runrate=6.04
Williams 10-0-90-1
Shackell* 69 (64 balls)
Anderson 46 (29 balls)

Two medium pacers got tonk for 1-72 and 1-90 respectively, obviously not favouring the flat pitch today.

End of Over 1: 7-0, runrate=7.00, reqrunrate=6.55 (327-4)
Sipho 1-0-7-0
Bardsley* 7 (5 balls)
Glasby 0 (1 balls)

Made 327-4 on a dusty pitch in sunny weather. Healy made 113 off 114 balls, Davenport 103 off 96 and Granville 77* from 66 deliveries.

Should win from here but we'll see.

End of Over 21: Beyond Heresy 125-0, runrate=5.95, reqrunrate=6.14 (302-4)
Scott 4-0-31-0
Williams* 58 (69 balls)
Swayne 66 (58 balls)

Good first 20 overs

Didn't make 300 but an unbeaten ton for Sandy and then a rather destructive session from Suthers with 6-8. Plums adds an unbeaten 28 to take his league average to 282 having been dismissed only once in 8 innings!

ShrimperZone CC: 295/3
Immortals: 19 all out

Immortals ShrimperZone CC
Top Order: remarkable exquisite
Middle Order: quality quality
Lower Order: mediocre abysmal
Seam Bowling: wonderful phenomenal
Spin Bowling: remarkable elite
Fielding: competent competent

MOTM: Sandile

And that's the end of the match. Southend won by 182 runs.
Southend 327-4
Aimless Wanderers 145-10

Good win that, I lost to them earlier in the season. There looks like being an 8 point gap between me and 4th after today, and possibly 12 from 5th place. Staying in this league looks assured now, I hope.

And that's the end of the match. Southend United won by 145 runs.
Southend United 330-2
Nige's Hootnannys 185-10

End of Over 42: 185-10, runrate=4.40
Gichki 8-0-42-2
Eade* 23 (40 balls)

41.1 W Gichki to August
Attempts the cut but the ball is lower than August anticipated and he only succeeds in chopping it onto his own stumps! Bowled him, albeit with some assistance!
