o2 Pay As You Go Sim Card's

Right, i have a phone from which i got from T-Mobile ages ago
And i've recently aquired an o2 P.A.Y.G. SIM card.

I've tried to use the sim card but when the phone is switched on it says i need an activation code.

Anyone got any ideas about how to unlock the activation code??

I may be able to unlock it.

I'll need the handsets IMEI number

To get this type *#06# into the phone.

Let me know the long number this displays (PM me if you wish)

I don't think it makes a difference.

All this does is display the unique serial number of the handset.

Each unlock code is specific to each handset.

Nice one matey!!

Does that mean i can use any sort of sim card in the phone now??

How do you know all about this, do you work in a mobile phone shop???

Thank-you once again, much appreciated.

UP THE BLUES!!!

No probs mate

Wasn't 100% sure it would work - normally does tho (but I can only do Nokia mobiles).

I work as Technical Support Manager for large telecoms distributor - don't do mobiles but "aquire" software upon occasion

Your phone should now be unlocked to all networks.

All the best

Wish I could have gone but I moved up to Yorkshire 3 years ago.

Used to sit South Upper.

I think we've got a bloody good chance of double this year - looking forward to the LDV Final
