Norwich City U18s vs Southend United U18s

The Shrimpers Under-18 side travelled to Norwich City's Colney training ground this afternoon with a reasonably young squad (the second half featured only two second-year scholars) and drew 1-1 with the Academy outfit. Southend's goal was scored by 'guest' left-hand sided midfielder Richie Foran, prodding in Durran Reynold's fifth-minute free-kick. Full report to appear on the official website and the Shrimpers Trust website in due course.

Probably a good way to test him to be honest, he's had a long spell out through injury.

Seems this points in the direction of him being given the chance come the beginning of the season. Testing his fitness and attitude to playing with the kids. Hopefully he feels like his got a point to prove to all those fans who slated him.

I'd say playing him in an all youth game full of 15 and 16 year olds points to the complete opposite myself.

Spot on, if Tilly was changing his mind about Foran surely he would have gone with the squad to Wycombe yesterday.
