Yeah, Pinnock won't be released until next season.

Does this mean Auger is getting a new deal as his contract was up?

Sad to hear that they have let Seedy go. Don't think he was ever really given a chance.

They get a chance everyday in training and development matches.

If they are judged not to be good enough to progress to the first team there is no point just giving them a chance "just in case".

Having seen Seedy make a couple of appearances for Concord in the latter part of the season, it is really no real surprise that he was released and in truth was probably third or fourth choice striker there.

To be honest I'm quite disappointed, to see marlon go cause I have watched him in youth games and he looked very promising, very quick on the ball, creative and tracks back but like some of you said he got his chance in training and Reserve games. Wish them all the best

Got a feeling Edwards may surprise a few people.

I vaguely know Jack and he is a very good young player. Disappointed he's not had more of a chance here and the loans he's been out on this season have been of very little good for him.

If he carries on in the game I could see him playing league football at some point in the future.

Interesting to see the two articles on the main website just less than half an our apart with Ricky Duncan praising the 3 lads receiving development contracts for 2013 ( exclusive of Seedy), and hopeful of our category 3 status being approved in June. Whilst the other article states their release. Does it say anything about the progression of our development system that all 3 failed. Is it purely about the young players not taking opportunities? Kane Farrell, better perk up kiddo?

I don't think so, no. When Ricky has talked at Trust events he's said about clubs taking punts on kids of 16 and hoping they have developed by 19....that's what happened with Fulham and Lyle Della-Verde recently, and others prior to him. It's a chance you take from the teams at the top to the teams at the bottom that have youth set ups. Some kids might be absolutely brilliant at 16 but then they don't push on to make the grade fully as an adult.
