Nightmare Scenario

I don't know about everyone else on here but I just knew we'd blow it tonight. I'm really worried now that if we go downhill further we will end up in the payoffs, and lose yet again at the dreaded Mill Stad! I don't think I could stand that again. I think we have missed Lewis Hunt big time, dont rate Jupp at all myself, plus Bentleys suspended for 2 games now, it all seems to be turning to Rats**t. Lets hope i'm wrong here.

Keep faith, with Tilly and Brush, but now is the time , we really see what there made of..although i feel they can still pull it off. Alot of motivation needed.

If anyone was going to ruin our promotion push, i knew it would be Orient. Agree about the Hunt/Jupp scenario, also think Eastwood's mini goal drought hasn't helped and has come at just the wrong time, as has Gower's lack of form.

Dunno about everyone else, but not too bothered with the title now, i'd happily settle for 3rd place

Whatever happens this weekend, we'll still be in the top three, with a game in hand. It's still a great position to be in. Obviously, tonight's going to be hard to take, but the lads are just going to have to put it behind them and get on with it. There's no point in feeling sorry for themselves. Now's the time for boys to stand up and be counted. I've got faith in them; and so should the rest of us. You saw how much it hurt them at the final whistle.

Let's put this one to bed and look forward to the next cup final. We've got to win one sooner or later!

Keep the faith.

...and don't let the fact it was Orient that beat us tonight get you down. I'd be just as frustrated if Bury had nicked the points tonight. Let them have their moment of glory. Bless 'em.

I'll probably gte shot down by everyone other than my fellow TIG members, but we miss the variation Tes gives us up front. If Tilly knew he wanted to go, we should've replaced him, we didn't, and now we're suffering because it's Dudfield or nothing if Eastwood & Gray don't get any joy.

A massive problem we have IMO is that the ball comes back at us far too often. If Flavs kicks it downfield or we have to lump it clear, it always comes straight back at us because we don't have anyone in the final third who can actually win anything in the air, or at least hold it up. Freddy has the ability to, but more often than not it's a complete mismatch against a 6ft 5in giant and he gets bundled off it.

Freddy's looking very tired. Its his first full season and looks to be struggling. We need another striker at the club and Tes would be a perfect man to have at this time. He's the most physical of the four and wins more headers than Wayne, Freddy and LD ...
