We have our next liaison meeting with the club on 7th November, please reach out if you have anything you wish for us to raise.

I think this is worthy of being in chit chat for awhile as it makes interesting reading.

Well done The Trust.

Blimey. From 2002:

The North Bank David McScriven explained that many fans were starting to campaign for a return to the North Bank; Geoffrey King stated that he had picked up on this on ShrimperZone. GK said that the Police would never allow it, as it is easier control away fans in the North. GK also stated the local authority issue a safety certificate, necessary for sporting events to take place, and they would not do so if away fans were elsewhere.

It's probably happened and I missed it but I'm curious to know whether the prize draw available to those buying season tickets before 01 August has taken place. The list of prizes is below.

- Dinner with the management team (three winners)
· Hospitality Box for a game in the 2024/25 season, food & drink included (five winners)
· 2024/25 Southend United replica kit (10 winners)
· Table of four in the Captains’ Suite for a game of your choice (five winners)
· Match Sponsorship package (two winners)
· Signed & framed shirt accompanied with letter of thanks from Kevin Maher (three winners)
· An afternoon at the training ground with the management team & first team (one winner)
· Directors’ Box experience at an away game (one winner)
· Travel on team coach to an away game (one winner)

Might be easier 22 years later with s'security' rather than stewards. Even our over stretched police officers might be OK with 30 fans from Fylde on a Tuesday night.

Not sure if it has been discussed anywhere before but does the fact that the deal between the council and RM still doesn't seem to be finalised effect any of COSU plans for the current site. The sudden 'we are still deciding where to put the fan park' seems more like they are stalling because they can't build something on land they don't own yet.

I'm not 100% sure but I didn't think the sale of the council land near RH was dependent on the FF deal. In one of the council meetings officers were given the delegation to move ahead with the disposal of the land.

It would influence the timing of any cashflows from FF but COSU have stated that shouldn't impact their plans for RH (TBH I don't quite follow how that is the case as the cash from FF is supposed to be ringfenced for RH development - unless COSU fund it and get 'refunded' from the FF money)
