If we can get back to winning ways on Saturday, i think we could reap some rewards in the next 10 games, with a realistic 20 points being acheivable, these being:

Doncaster - Win
Swindon - Win
Peterborough - Draw
Coventry - Loss
Shrewsbury - Win
Colchester - Win
Scunthorpe - Win
Burton - Loss
Port Vale - Draw
Crewe - Win

What are your thoughts?

6 wins from 10 games ? Believe it when I see it:smile:

Yeah..

I was debating whether to add on...
Chesterfield - Win
Barnsley - Win

Making it 8 wins from 12 games...... but i didnt want to push my luck!

We'd do very well to get a draw at Peterborough, they're a different side of late, but other than them, Coventry and Burton then any defeats would be disappointing after the first half of the season that we've had.

Could win ten, lose ten. We could win more than we lose or lose more than we win.
We play the games to see. Pontificating is totally pointless.

Im inclined to agree, but I decided on their recent 2-0 loss to Blackpool and draw with Shrewsbury that their purple patch has come to and end... of course, I guess other teams could be saying the same about us, therefore settling for an honours even draw.

I also didnt take into the equation the possibility of the Bradford re-match taking place during this period, so if it does take place, I would be hopefull for a draw, but I would'nt be overly shocked if we lost (the same situation as Peterborough).

No idea about the next ten but a good performance against Doncaster is a must ahead of two consecutive away games

I made a thread, probably a couple years back now about how February looked a good month for fixtures, we'd already beaten all the teams that season, we should accumulate a lot of points etc etc and we ended going on that 12 game winless run!!

So I'm cautious now about these sorts of threads.

I honestly don't know what to expect on Saturday after the Millwall performance, let alone the next 10 games.

Wildly optimistic but hope you're right!

I would hope that by the end of the next 10 games we have secured league 1 football for another season.
If we manage to achieve that before then , we may have enough in us to push on for a respectable league position.

In my weak defence (about as weak as Southends at the moment)... Im going to blame it on a Typo... & It should have read:

Doncaster - To Win
Swindon - To Win
