New York

People of the Zone,

I am heading to NY for a few days this month and would be interested in recommendations;

Things not to miss
Place to eat
Things you wish you'd known before you went

etc

Many thanks!

Think there are old threads in regards to this somewhere.

One thing I remember is that if you want to go to Ellis Island and up the SOL, you need to get there early as it's limited to a certain number.

Get the free ferry to Staten Island to get a great view of the SoL and Manhattan.

Ricey's thread will give you all you need to know.

I would say on your first day jet lag will have you up at the crack of dawn so make the most of it and get out early.

We were taking a look around Time Square at 6am, the city that never sleeps my backside, we were the only ones there other than a few cops in the kiosk.

We were then first in the queue for Empire State which was nice as it was nice and empty up top.
