New Years Resolution

Okay being extremely bored thought I'd start this one, what are peoples new years resolutions?
For me I bought a couple of Lambretta scooters a couple of years ago that need restoring (total rebuilds on both of em), but are sitting sitting in the shed awaiting my attention, this year I have promised myself to get them up and for sale.

No alcohol until February.

I have never kept to a New Year's Resolution in my life. Therefore, to buck the trend, my New Year's Resolution this year is to try not to learn how to speak Flemish.

Het spijt me, ik spreek geen Vlaams. (I'm sorry, I don't speak Flemish.)

There's one useful phrase for you, or is that breaking it already?

1. To stop buying Franklin Mint collectables.

2. To eBay my "Royal wedding '81" Charles and Diana tea towel collection. Too many memories....

No fried food for a month.
Increased exercise for a month.
No beer, only red wine for a month.

Two days and still going ..

giving up the booze for lent methinks.. i want to shift a stone and then keep it at 13

Snap. Lasted 13 hours.
I never kid myself that I'll do it. I do intend on cutting right down but I'm not going to deny myself one of life's pleasures in the full knowledge that come February I'd end up boozing even more anyway!

I will also be avoiding the gym at all costs while the resolutionists have their 6 week exercise binge! So I guess my resolution will be to finally get our home 'gym' set up so I can use that.

No beer, at all, during 2007. Sticking to the vino and vodka.

Visit the gym at least twice, if not three, times a week.

And a boring one - recycle, wherever practicable and possible.

I blame Tanner. Since he's been back in the UK, my liver stopped talking to me. He refused to accept that diet coke is a drink when he was buying..

Mine was no alcohol for a year, i lasted around 3 minutes so I changed it to no beer, only spirits. Of course when I go back to uni this will be broken straight away. Actually I'll be suprised if it last until I go back to uni.
