New stadium - PUBS?

Pulling down the Rusty Bucket / Invisible Man looks like a bad idea in hindsight.

Without an unwelcoming, locals pub in close proximity the Fossets Farm matchday experience is going to seem a bit sterile.

That sort of reputation takes years to cultivate, it doesn't just happen overnight.

Simple answer...

Uncle Ron will have to build us a couple of new boozers on site.

What with the new site being a bit isolated, I'd say 90%+ of people wishing to have a few beverages before and after the game would drink on site if there was drinking establishments there.....plenty of money to go in the clubs coffers I feel...

Come on Ron, you know it makes sense!

Ive seen people move Houses because of fault lines developing or coastal erosion... Why can't we just dig up the Spread/Railway and cart it over to FF?

Opening a pub on-site will get the old Karers up in arms , and would it get any use on days other than match-days ? It would not be a viable proposition to just open occassionally. If the whole place was to be like that nice Festival Park in Bas it would be fine but I can't see the Council allowing such mass development there.

The Railway is probably the nearest boozer to FF , but it still a fair hike away.
I like the idea of moving a pub completely to the new ground.

shuttle buses from the Spread, it's gotta be.

or a pub / bar next to Waitrose?

Maybe - but it'd be very soulless by comparison to the Spread experience...
