The PL League Boss⭐⭐🦐
A new session of the Shrimperzone Prediction League starts Friday/Saturday 26th/27th February 2016 (Port Vale away), see separate forum canveyshrimpers prediction League.

All you have to do is predict the scores from six selected fixtures, mark one as your wildcard which will score double points and name who you think will score first for Southend. About two minutes a time and it's all done. Currently 86 take part but there is room for everyone.

There are four sessions a year, (the new one being the Fourth) four divisions, cup competitions, individual competition for Southend results only and the chance to be "capped" by your stand. It is certainly lively and always something going on.

The first set of fixtures are already up at the link below and you can post anytime up to kick-off.

Byes for the first round of the Prediction League Cup are allocated on a first to predict basis so get your predictions in early

If you a member but rarely post this is an easy way to start. .

The previous session finished last night and a close thing it was. Already 35 have posted their predictions ad we fully expect another 50 or 60 to take part before Friday night.

45 have now predicted with just over two days left, and we expect another 45 to take part. The immediate schedule is:

  • Friday 25th February 2016 -Port Vale v Southend - No. 1 fixtures (first match)
  • Saturday 26th February 2016 - the other five fixtures in No.1 fixtures
  • Sunday 27th February - First Round draw in the Prediction League Cup (everyone who has predicted in either No.1 or 2 fixtures by 12.00 Sunday will automatically be entered)
  • Tuesday 1st March - No. 2 fixtures and First Round of the Prediction League Cup
  • Wednesday 2nd March 2016 - Second Round draw of the Prediction League Cup
  • Saturday 5th March 2016 - No. 3 fixtures and First Round Replays of the Prediction League Cup

As I've said previously the PL certainly is lively, and all you have to do is predict six scorers, predict Southend's first scorer and mark your best prediction as a wildcard which will give double points, a couple of minutes and it's done.

THE BIG DAY HAS ARRIVED
THE NEW SESSION STARTS TODAY

78 have so far predicted (including 8 new predictors) and we expect anther dozen or so by 7.45 pm but all are welcome.

The more I do with the Prediction League the more I realise it is 10% common sense 90% pure luck.

So the question is "Do you feel lucky Shrimper?"

Its not too late for those that forget to predict No, 1 fixtures

A massive 91 have predicted a record for the Prediction League.

For those that forgot to predict its not too late you can still catch the other five matches, just post your predictions on the new thread

and that will automatically enter you in the draw for the first round of The Prediction League Cup.
 
We have a final tally of 93 taking part in the No. 1 fixtures and these will be automatically entered in the First Round cup draw. Byes will be given on first to predict basis. There will be 5 Rounds, Semi-final and Final.

If anyone else wishes to take part then before 12.00 (Midday) Tomorrow, then can either:
