The team that got promoted from my league is winning 1-0 away.

Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 21714 at ICI Stadium today. Monsters had chosen a strategic 0-0-0 formation. Lineup: - - - .

Southend started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Savin - Foster, Burke, Allen - Mukhrin, Quigley, Bousquet, MacRae, van Melis - Boshouwers, Withaar.

The game couldn't be played as the home side didn't have 9 players. The referee had to report a walkover and 5-0 victory for the visitors. The spectators were very disappointed with their home team. The match ends 0 - 5.    
 

Solid start to the season it seems. Think most teams will get this result though for a while. Am glad a stronger side has gone.

Woohoo, just managed to beat the team that CA'd me to death last season, 4-1 away from home. Today has been a good day even managed to pick myself up a World Class Keeper after selling one of my older IMs for £1.9m who had just popped to Brilliant.

Ouch, according to hatstats V.17 is now the 36th toughest. Still, we're top of the league so I'll just have to bask in that glory for the one week it will last.....

Lost 2-0 at home to the team who finished 2nd to me last season. Not a good start.

Realy peed off this was the first game as with 4 newbies in the league I could have pic-ed against all of them and then met this team but as it was I've lost the league in the first week.
